Why V-Wire Injection Well Technique Outperforms Conventional Systems

Conventional recharge borewells frequently fail due to silt clogging and irregular slotted pipes. Allegiance Water deploys continuous-slot V-Wire technology combined with dual silt-trap sedimentation chambers and multi-layer activated carbon filtration.

Continuous Inverted Slot Geometry: Prevents sand bridging and zero clogging under heavy storm flow.
Defunct Borewell Revitalization: Converts dry/low-yield borewells into high-capacity aquifer recharge shafts.
100% Space Reusability: Compact modular RCC structures with flush heavy-duty ground slabs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common queries regarding rainwater harvesting engineering, CGWA NOC clearances, flowmeter calibration, and maintenance.

How does the V-Wire Injection Well technique prevent clogging during high-velocity storm runoff?
Unlike conventional slotted PVC pipes which have square or irregular slots that trap fine sand grains and silt, our V-Wire technology features continuous inverted triangular wire geometry. Water enters through an outer narrow slot and expands into a wider inner channel, preventing particles from wedging. Combined with our upstream dual-chamber Silt Trap and multi-layer activated carbon/silica gravel filtration bed, suspended solids are settled before water ever reaches the aquifer zone.
What is the working principle of the Rainy Dual Intensity Filter and does it require electricity?
Rainy Dual Intensity Filters operate 100% on gravity head (> 1 foot) with ZERO electricity consumption. They leverage cohesive and centrifugal force: as storm runoff enters tangentially, clean water adheres to the precision food-grade SS-304 cylindrical screen (250 microns) and exits through the clean water outlet, while dirt, leaves, and heavy silt are spun downwards and flushed out through an open-ended drain.
Is installation of Digital Water Level Recorders (DWLR) and IoT Telemetry mandatory for CGWA NOC?
Yes. As per the revised guidelines of the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA), all commercial and industrial entities extracting groundwater must install calibrated electromagnetic flowmeters with digital telemetry gateways on all operational abstraction wells, as well as an automated piezometer fitted with a DWLR (Digital Water Level Recorder) to transmit real-time water table data to the CGWA cloud server.
What is the complete process to secure CGWA groundwater abstraction NOC for our factory?
Allegiance Water Management manages the entire end-to-end NOC process: 1) We conduct a comprehensive Hydrogeological & Geophysical Resistivity survey; 2) We calculate water balance and prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR); 3) We design and install the mandatory artificial recharge structures (V-Wire injection wells/Rainy filters); 4) We install CGWA-compliant flowmeters and DWLR telemetry; 5) We file the application on the central portal and assist during official site inspections through final NOC grant.
What line sizes of Electromagnetic Flowmeters do you provide and what communication outputs are supported?
We supply and commission electromagnetic flowmeters from 15 NB (1/2") to 1000 NB (40"). All units feature IP66 cast aluminum electronics, SS316L electrodes, PTFE or Hard Rubber liners, and provide standard 4-20mA DC current loops, isolated 24Vdc pulse outputs, and RS485 MODBUS RTU interfaces for seamless cloud telemetry and PLC/SCADA integration.
